La Costa Resort and Spa Hotel - Carlsbad California
|
|
Carlsbad's legendary 400-acre resort and spa This 400-acre resort in inland Carlsbad is all about championship golf and an exclusive spa, as it retains its long-held aura of exclusivity. It's located 2 miles from the beach and 30 miles from downtown San Diego. Oversized guestrooms—all completely renovated—are housed within several Spanish-style buildings, and offer custom-made furnishings, rich woods, mini-bars, in-room safes, and multi-line phones. Copious amenities, even in the midst of its major renovation in 2003, include two 18-hole PGA championship golf courses, 21 tennis courts, an athletic club, a full spa, and two outdoor pools.
